About the Department
Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success - all working together help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
What you'll do
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Head of Sales, Asia Pacific & Japan, you will drive sales into large enterprise accounts across Asia Pacific and Japan for Cloudflare’s solutions. Large enterprise accounts include, but not limited to, MNC’s, top 50 Alexa ranked websites, and organisations that have very large requirements for Cloudflare solutions. You will help develop a Named Account List of these types of organisations for you to sell to.
The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement with senior levels within Cloudflare’s target customers.
As a Regional Strategic Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a Sales strategy/plan for Strategic accounts as well as driving large account sales into Asia Pacific to achieve revenue targets. Therefore you must have a strong network of contacts with decision makers in large enterprise accounts across Asia Pacific and have experience selling complex solutions to these accounts. The person in this role will also assist in creating and articulating compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Manage contract negotiations
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- < 60% travel
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in one or two Asia languages is helpful.
- Direct experience selling network security or CDN services
- Direct experience selling to large enterprise accounts acting as lead seller and relationship owner
- Strong network of decision makers in large enterprise accounts
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
- Basic understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills
